Dog Friendly Tours Portrush

Dog Friendly Tours are a new fun walking experience for dog owners. No matter what the weather, our four-legged friends always need to get out and about and there's no better way to do it together. The tours are light hearted fun and you willl earn about the history of the places you will visit, and chat to the locals, there are a host of dog friendly venues and cover a distance of approximatgely 5km. There are currently two tours available – The Big Woof Tour which includes a bespoke beer tasting, and the Weekend Walkies tour which is available to book at the last minute if you are visitng the area. Each venue stop on the tour welcomes dogs. The tour price includes food and beverage (Tea/Coffee/Scones/Traybakes/Guinness/Lunch with wine/Local beer/Sweet treats/ Local delicacies/Bandana and dog treats) The Big Woof Tour This tour is approximately 5 kilometres in distance covered over a 3- 4 hour period with regular stops at our venues. During the tour you will enjoy fresh scones/baked goods with tea/coffee, Guinness, snacks, a light lunch and a fantastic local brewery beer tasting. Meeting Point The tour will meet at the East Strand Car Park and will start at exactly 10:00 and will end a short distance from the car park along the promenade. At the end of the tour you will be welcome to stay on and enjoy more food, drink and craic if you wish. Your four legged friends will also enjoy a special treat at the end of the tour with plenty of watering holes en route. Weekend Walkies Tour This tour covers 5km approx and will take in 7 Dog Friendly stops. This tour includes, tea/coffee/scones/cakes, Guinness, Lunch and glass of wine, local beer, doggie bandana and doggie treats. Please call to check availability before booking online. Coleraine Christmas Lights Switch On
Friday 23rd of November - Friday 23rd of November

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has organised a fantastic calendar of entertainment including live music, carol singing and 'Quiet Christmas' opportunities for children with additional needs. The fun begins in The Diamond area at 18:00 with Beatz Entertainment, school choir carol singing and the Riverside Panto group. The Christmas Parade including the Mayor, Santa and his Clydesdale horses will make its way through the town from the Leisure Centre before the switch-on at 19.00 followed by live entertainment from local band The Dandy Lyons. 'Quiet Christmas' will take place in Coleraine Town Hall from 15.00 - 17.00.

Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show

The Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show running twice yearly since 2005, showcases a fantastic variety of contemporary and older toy and model tractors, implements and machinery. It is an ideal event for enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds who collect, display or play with farm toys and models The popular event, which takes place at the Magherabuoy House Hotel in Portrush is suitable for all ages. Organised by National Minitrac in Portrush, visitors can expect a myriad of trade stands with all the best known brands, including Britains and Bruder, as well as Universal Hobbies, Ros, Siku, Marge Models and many more. The hand-finished muddy tractors produced for the Show are always a highlight of this exciting event. Sure to be collectible items, the tractors are expertly prepared by local business; Muddyfarm Models to give an authentic muddied look. Meanwhile, locally produced farmyard playsets will also be available together with pedal tractors, gifts, and even soft furnishings. DVDs, books, clothing and much more will also be available. It’s therefore the perfect opportunity to pick up a gift or two, as well as encouraging a shared interest in the agricultural world with the younger generation. Vineyard Farmer's Market & Craft Fair
Saturday 5th of May - Saturday 1st of December

Come along for a great family day out to the Vineyard Market which takes place on the 1st Saturday of each month in Coleraine. It was launched in July 2012 and has grown to become one of Ireland's largest monthly indoor and outdoor Farmer's Market & Craft Fairs. It uniquely combines these different markets in one great event, with more than 100 outdoor pitches available as well as over 70 pitches within a covered drive-in area, 90 pitches in a separate indoor warehouse where tables are provided and a further 30 pitches with tables provided for the Craft Fair in the foyer of the main church building. There is plenty of free car parking on site for public and traders with a designated disabled area. Hot food is available from local vendors along with tea, coffee and light snacks from our Compassion Cafe.
